Heidi Wilson spent decades mastering craniosacral work, and her students left every workshop transformed. Then the learning faded, the tech piled up, and every website update felt like a mountain. Today Fluid Healing runs as one program: her in-person classes and the digital courses she created, on a system that retains the work between them. And she runs it solo.
The starting point
In the room, her workshops landed. Then students went home, and the learning didn’t stick.
Heidi is a beloved teacher with decades of craniosacral wisdom. Manuals helped her students, but only to a point.
It’s a known thing: as we’ve all had to evolve with tech, our understanding didn’t naturally evolve with it. Owning your own tech can be daunting, even terrifying. In Heidi’s case, that was it. She teaches light touch and bodywork. Her intelligence lives in the felt sense of being with a body and moving through a body, not in computers and typing at a keyboard. Troubleshooting creates a sense of wanting to shut down.
And the real question underneath: how do you take the experience of a classroom, connecting human to human, and bring it online? People are doing it. She saw that. But at certain points the truth came up: “I’m going to be left behind if I can’t figure this out.” “What if I can’t do this?”
That’s pretty big in our book, and something we really wanted to support and honor. Because you CAN do this. With the right guardrails, and a skilled person willing to ask what you need and what you gravitate toward, you can function online without abandoning how you’re built.
What was actually going on
She wasn’t behind because she was slow. She’d been told to start at the wrong step.
Heidi thought she had a technology problem: too old-school, too far behind, not enough tools. The mapping surfaced something different. Her teaching didn’t have a delivery problem in the room; it had a retention problem after it. And her business didn’t need more technology. It needed fewer, calmer systems in the right order: the student experience designed first, the course structure second, the platform last. That diagnostic is the same thinking that now runs as the Signal Check.

Student experience design
The course and portal were shaped around retention, not content dumping: how students return, review, and stay connected between sessions.
The co-build
Built with Heidi, not for her, at a pace her nervous system could actually keep up with. She watched it come together and learned her own system as it grew. That done-with-you arc is what now runs as the Guided System Build.
Handoff to ownership
Documentation, guardrails, and the boring superpower: Heidi able to update her own site without spiraling.

Heidi runs Fluid Healing’s digital side solo: the course, the portal, the emails, the site. Nobody on retainer. That was the point.
